Dr. Elisabeth Koenig, Professor of Ascetical Theology, gave a retreat day entitled “Discernment for All of God’s People” for members of the three Commissions on Ministry (lay, diaconate, and priesthood) of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, on October 2, 2010 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Morristown, New Jersey. She also presented a paper called “Spiritual Formation at General Seminary” for The Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality’s workshop: “What Is Meant by ‘Spiritual Formation’ in the Shaping of Religious Leaders?” at the American Academy of Religion Annual Conference on October 29, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia. On Good Friday, 2011, she was the preacher at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in San Diego, California.
