The Rev. Ralph E. Merrill, Class of 1956, passed away on 11/21/11, in his home of New London, CT. Fr. Merrill served congregations in the Diocese of Connecticut for all of his vocation, and co-founded the Covenant Shelter, which still serves New London’s homeless. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Audrey; his sister, Anne Larson of Somers; three children, Ellen, Thomas, and Sarah; and three grandchildren.
