The Rev. Dr. Amy Bentley Lamborn, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at The General Theological Seminary, has been awarded a Summer Research Fellowship by the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion for her proposal, “Figuring the Self; Figuring the Sacred: Manuscript Revision.” The Fellowship helps support the careers of promising and committed new educators and scholars in religion and theology.
Funded by the Lilly Endowment, the prestigious Wabash Summer Fellowship awards $5,000 for five weeks of full-time scholarly research or writing. The Wabash Center provides this funding to aid faculty in advancing their scholarly work with the hope that the proposed project will stimulate significant connections between scholarship and teaching practice.
Prof. Lamborn will complete her project this Summer and report her accomplishments to the Wabash Center by September, 2013.
