*After the 10 am service on Friday, the chapel enters holiday mode.  

The Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Holiday Mode. Holiday mode means that MP and EP are casual. Students and faculty are invited to continue to say the Office at the usual times of 10 am and 5.30pm. The roles can be divided up among those that attend. Please remember that the Office light setting is 2. Please turn the lights to 1 when you are finished. Officiants please sign the register in the sacristy after every service, and count the number of attendees.

The Reverend Canon Stephanie Spellers is the Canon for Missional Vitality in the Diocese of Long Island, author ofRadical Welcome: Embracing the God, The Other and the Spirit of Transformation and co-author with Eric Law of The Episcopal Way, Book 1 of the upcoming “Church’s Teachings for a Changing World” series (August 2014). Canon Spellers serves as Chaplain to the Episcopal House of Bishops and founded The Crossing congregation at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Boston. The recent chair for the Standing Commission on Mission and Evangelism, she speaks and teaches nationally about sharing the gospel across cultures and generations. She lives in Brooklyn.

The Very Reverend Katherine (Kate) B Moorehead, is 10th Dean of St. John’s Cathedral and Dean of the Diocese of Florida.  She came to Florida from Wichita, Kansas, where she served as the rector of St. James Episcopal Church for eight years.  Prior to serving St. James, she was rector of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Bolling Springs, SC.  The Dean is author of four books, Organic God (2006), Between Two Worlds (2004) and Get Over Yourself: God’s Here (2009).  Her latest book is Resurrecting Easter, which has just been released.
