Call for Nominations from the Alumni Executive Committee

The Alumni Executive Committee (AEC) of The General Theological Seminary announces that nominations are being accepted for the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award, as well as positions on the AEC and the Board of Trustees.

  • The Distinguished Alumni Award nominees may be degree-holders, either lay or ordained, worthy of special recognition. The award presentation will take place during the Alumni Gathering in May, 2018. Past recipients have included exemplars of a broad range of both extraordinarily original, path-breaking ministries and extraordinarily faithful, though quiet, ministries. Candidates may be put forth on the basis of lifetime achievement or to honor significant accomplishment that brought credit both to the Church and the Seminary. Nominees may be well-known, but care should be given to identify inspiring yet unheralded ministries. To learn more about past recipients click here.   • Nominees for open positions on the AEC and Board of Trustees may also be either lay or ordained, and meet these core values discerned by the AEC:
