The screening of the film Love Free or Die was held on Tuesday evening, November 13th in the Seabury Auditorium, sponsored by the GLBTQ Community at GTS. About 55 people attended, both from the seminary and from the neighboring community. Those attending provided some commentary afterward, such as ”wonderful,” “I was blown away,” “This film should win an award” and “best film I’ve seen all year.”

The next ISD will be at the Academy of Jewish Religion (AJR) in Yonkers on Monday, November 5th. Light refreshments will be served and good conversation is guaranteed.

The community will join in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist for All Saints Day and the Baptism of Amelia Wall next Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. Note there will not be a morning Eucharist on Thursday.

The GTS 2012 Spartner Retreat will be held this coming Friday to Sunday, November 2-4 at Community of St. John the Baptist in Mendham, NJ.
The retreat is a wonderful experience aimed at enhancing your Seminary experience by promoting fellowship and community among Spartners. Also, all the costs of the retreat are paid for, with the exception of transportation – and Rob and Melissa are arranging that.
