Our next Inter-Seminary Dialogue (ISD) event will be held on Wednesday, December 12th, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS), located at 3080 Broadway on the corner of 122nd Street. The topic of discussion will be “Dialoguing Beyond Our Dialogue.”

All are invited to the Fulton Houses Christmas Tree Lighting to be held in front of the Fulton Houses offices on 17th Street, next Wednesday, 12 December at 7:00pm. There will be an official tree lighting and singing of Christmas Carols.
Regretably, the Christmas Party planned for the children and youth of the Fulton Houses has been cancelled. Hurricane Sandy caused unavoidable delays in planning for this event both here and at Fulton Houses, such that it was no longer feasible to hold the party this year. Additionally, any fund-raising efforts were delayed and we were unable to obtain a venue in which to hold the event.

The next ISD will be at the Academy of Jewish Religion (AJR) in Yonkers on Monday, November 5th. Light refreshments will be served and good conversation is guaranteed.
Since AJR is not so easily reached by public transportation, we will ask for commitments ahead of time in order to try to provide some transportation. The community will join in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist for All Saints Day and the Baptism of Amelia Wall next Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. Note there will not be a morning Eucharist on Thursday.

The All Saints Company, founded by two GTS alumni, will lead the 20th Annual Music That Makes Community workshop at St. Paul’s Chapel and Trinity Wall Street from October 25 – 27. Cost is $350.00 but scholarships are available.
