Junior-year Master of Divinity students are invited to apply for this award, which carries an annual tuition grant of $2500 for 2014-15, automatically renewable for the Senior year. The award honors the memory of a former distinguished GTS professor of Old Testament, and it is granted on the basis of the quality of the student’s overall academic work and especially his or her performance in Hebrew and Old Testament classes. The recipient is required to take a class in Biblical Hebrew, and is also required to write a thesis on a subject directly related to the Old Testament. Applicants who have not yet enrolled in Hebrew must pledge to do so prior to graduation. Please direct inquiries to Prof. Robert Owens, who can supply an application form. Application deadline: 4th April 2014
