Communicating to the Community and the Use of Group Email Addresses

In the interest of promoting clear community communications, the use of group email addresses such as gtseveryone@gts.edu is reserved for imperative, urgent, or sensitive messages. As such, the use of gtseveryone is available to a small number of GTS departments and is administered through the Dean’s Office. If you have a message that you feel is of importance to the community, but not appropriate for Up Close, please contact the Dean’s Office who will send the message on your behalf.

Community members are asked to send all other announcements, events, and ministry updates to General Up Close (upclose@gts.edu). Posts will be published to the Up Close web site (news.gts.edu/upclose), and a weekly summary of new Up Close headlines is sent every Friday to the same mailing list as gtseveryone. You can also follow Up Close on Twitter and Facebook.

Students are asked to use allstudents@gts.edu sparingly and only when it would be inappropriate to post to a general forum such as Up Close. Examples of this would be requests and announcements of a personal nature, including babysitter or house-sitting requests.
