At the beginning of the new year, The General Theological Seminary debuted its new web site at www.gts.edu. Michael DeLashmutt, the recently appointed Dean of Academic Affairs, spearheaded the project, consulting with a design firm that specializes in web sites for faith-based not-for-profits. “I think this is a great first step, as we try to reach out to a broader network of folks who may have yet to hear about us, and to promote the great things we have here at General,” says DeLashmutt.
Beyond the modern look and feel, the new site is engineered to provide easier access and clear information about General Seminary. As General develops new programs and initiatives, they will be featured on the new site. Try it out at www.gts.edu.
Along with the new site, the Communications Office has developed new branding for General Seminary. GTS News has been renamed General News, and you will see these new graphic elements incorporated throughout all of our communications materials, starting with the web site and the monthly email newsletter, General News Update.
