Join Us for The Colloquy at General

New for Spring 2017, The General Theological Seminary invites you to The Colloquy at General, a public conversation centering on the church in a changing world.

On selected Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout the semester, General will host an interdisciplinary range of scholars and practitioners who will share a paper, presentation, project, or performance and engage in a dialogue with the community.

The public is welcome at all events in the Colloquy. The Friday morning presentations will be preceded by a brief, informal service of Morning Prayer at 9:50 a.m. in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd. Guests are welcome to join the community for lunch in the Refectory after the Colloquy. The cost for lunch is $18 per person. Tickets for lunch can be purchased at the front desk upon arrival.

Presentations will be held in Sherred 1B at The General Theological Seminary, unless otherwise indicated. General is located at 440 West 21st Street, New York City.

Students should note that, when scheduled for a Wednesday morning, the Colloquy is offered in lieu of advising.
